Six Week Vegan Bootcamp

Service Description

Over the course of six weeks, we will learn how to prep vegetables, create a variety of sauces, dressings, and gravy. We'll cover seitan and all its many forms and functions, we'll make a loaded breakfast feast, and we'll end to class with two weeks on sweets! Cakes and cookies and pie, oh my! You'll watch a walk-through on how to use an Instant Pot or pressure cooker to make preparing dry beans and rice easy and effortless, and how to season them. We'll taste and eat throughout the class, and any individual dishes we make are yours to take home and enjoy! Class will meet Wednesday evenings, starting August 23, from 6-9pm, at The Happy Bakery. You may bring an apron if you wish to wear one. Aprons are not provided. ** Please arrive with long hair tied back, closed-toed shoes, wearing clothing you don't mind being exposed to spills, stains, smells, and oil. All materials, supplies, and refreshments are provided. Gluten Free options available on request. This class is entirely nut free. Please notify The Happy Bakery if serious allergies need to be accommodated, including latex.
